Hi, I'm Sadie, the 17 year-old founder and creator behind Seaside Ave.
The Seaside Ave journey started in 2021 when I was 11 years-old. I started making handmade, coastal themed jewellery from shells that I collected during family camping trips and selling it in my local neighbourhood.
It was during a van life trip up the East Coast of Australia, in the Summer of 2023, that I realised my snorkel mask was my most essential beach item, so I created our colourful range to make exploring the ocean more fun, and stylish.
In Summer 2024, I found myself wearing a lightweight scarf I had picked up from an op shop almost every day as a sarong. It quickly became a beach essential for me, and that simple idea inspired the creation of our sarong collection. That idea grew into our very first Seaside Ave sarong, which we launched in September 2025.
We then expanded the range in December 2025 with new designs such as our Blue Hawaii, Summer Tan and The Holiday.
As I discover new beach essentials along the way, I will keep turning them into beach themed, colourful designs and sharing them with the Seaside Ave community. Everything I make comes from real life beach days and things I genuinely use and love.
